All copyrights, trademarks and other rights remain with their respective owners.
The appearance of third-party material does not imply that the relevant rights holder sponsors, endorses or is affiliated with Fight Artist.
4. Editorial and Fair-Dealing Use
Certain third-party material may be used in a limited and contextually relevant manner for purposes such as:
- Reporting current events;
- Criticism or review;
- Commentary and analysis;
- Education and public awareness;
- Identification of a fighter, event or organisation;
- Discussion of publicly announced developments; or
- Providing context to an original report.
Section 52 of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 recognises certain acts that may not constitute copyright infringement, including fair dealing for criticism, review and reporting current events.
Whether a particular use is legally permitted depends on the facts and circumstances of that use.
The inclusion of a copyright disclaimer, credit or source link does not by itself make an otherwise unauthorised use lawful.
Fight Artist aims to use no more third-party material than reasonably necessary for the relevant editorial purpose.
5. Credits and Sources
Where reasonably possible, Fight Artist may provide:
- The creator’s name;
- The photographer or videographer’s name;
- The promotion, broadcaster or publication name;
- A source link;
- A social-media username; or

A missing or incorrect credit does not necessarily indicate an intention to claim ownership.
Rights holders and creators may request the addition or correction of a credit by emailing fightartistmedia@gmail.com.
Please provide the relevant URL, the correct credit and evidence supporting the requested attribution.
6. Embedded Content
Fight Artist may embed publicly available content from platforms such as:
- YouTube;
- Instagram;
- Facebook;
- X; and
- Other video or social-media services.
Embedded content remains hosted and controlled by the relevant third-party platform or account holder.
Removal or restriction of the original post by its owner or platform may cause the embedded content to become unavailable on Fight Artist.
Copyright concerns involving the original hosted material may also need to be submitted directly to the platform hosting that material.
7. Content Submitted to Fight Artist
Fighters, managers, gyms, promotions, photographers, videographers, journalists, agencies and other contributors may voluntarily submit material to Fight Artist.
By submitting content, the sender represents that:
- They own the material or have authority to share it;
- They have obtained any permissions required for publication;
- The material does not unlawfully infringe another person’s rights;
- Any supplied ownership or credit information is accurate; and
- They have disclosed any restrictions on its permitted use.
Fight Artist may request additional evidence of permission before or after publication.
Submitting content does not guarantee publication.

The appropriate response will depend on the nature of the material, the evidence presented, the context of its use and applicable law.
12. Temporary Removal or Restriction
Fight Artist may temporarily remove, hide or restrict disputed material while reviewing a claim.
Temporary restriction:
- Does not constitute an admission of infringement;
- Does not confirm the validity of the claim;
- May be used to prevent further dispute during review; and
- May be reversed after additional information is considered.
13. Possible Outcomes
Following review, Fight Artist may decide to:
- Remove the material permanently;
- Restore previously restricted material;
- Replace the material;
- Crop, shorten or otherwise limit its use;
- Add or correct credit;
- Add further editorial context;

- Take no action where the claim is unsupported or the use is reasonably believed to be lawful.
Fight Artist reserves editorial control over the wording and presentation of any correction, credit or notice.
14. Response From the Content Provider
Where appropriate, Fight Artist may share the substance of a copyright request with the person or organisation that supplied the disputed material.
That party may be asked to provide:
- Proof of ownership;
- A licence or written permission;
- Evidence of authorisation;
- The original source;
- Publication history;
- An explanation of the intended use; or
- Other relevant documentation.
Personal information that is unnecessary to resolve the dispute may be withheld.

Fight Artist may forward the relevant response to the original complainant and may restore the material where appropriate.
Submitting a response does not guarantee restoration.
16. Ownership Disputes
Fight Artist is not a court and cannot conclusively determine complex disputes involving:
- Competing ownership claims;
- Employment-created material;
- Agency relationships;
- Exclusive licences;
- Contractual assignments;
- Broadcast-rights agreements;
- Territorial rights;
- Joint authorship; or
- Conflicting permissions.
Where the evidence is materially disputed, Fight Artist may keep the content restricted until the parties provide:
- A written agreement;
- A licence;
- A settlement;
- A court order; or
- Other reliable evidence resolving the dispute.
17. False or Misleading Requests
Do not submit a copyright request that:
- Knowingly contains false information;
- Misrepresents ownership or authority;
- Is intended to suppress lawful criticism or reporting;
- Targets material merely because it is unfavourable;
- Misidentifies the protected work;
- Is abusive, fraudulent or made in bad faith; or
- Involves rights that the complainant does not own or control.
A person submitting a false or misleading request may be responsible for resulting losses, costs or legal consequences.
Fight Artist may reject abusive requests and restrict communication from repeat bad-faith complainants.
18. Copyright Claims and Criticism
Copyright procedures should not be used solely to remove:
- Unfavourable reporting;
- Legitimate criticism;
- Reviews;
- Commentary;
- Public-interest reporting;
- Factual statements;
- Ideas or concepts not protected by copyright; or
- Material for which the claimant does not control the relevant rights.
Fight Artist may request evidence establishing both ownership and the alleged unauthorised use.
19. Urgent Requests
Where a request involves an upcoming event, confidential unreleased material, a serious privacy concern or another time-sensitive issue, include “URGENT” in the email subject line and explain the urgency.
Marking a request urgent does not guarantee immediate removal, but it may help us identify time-sensitive matters.
20. Social-Media Takedown Requests
This policy also applies, where practical, to material published on Fight Artist’s official social-media accounts.
Please provide:
- The platform name;
- The exact post, reel, short, story or video URL;

Depending on the circumstances, Fight Artist may:
- Remove previously submitted content;
- Require proof of permission for future submissions;
- Refuse further material;
- Restrict access to submission features; or

- Complying with legal obligations; and
- Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.
Personal information contained in a request will be handled in accordance with the Fight Artist Privacy Policy.
23. No Admission of Liability
Removing, restricting, editing, crediting or replacing material in response to a request does not constitute:
- An admission of copyright infringement;
- An admission of legal liability;
- Acceptance of every allegation in the request; or
- A waiver of Fight Artist’s legal rights or defences.
Fight Artist may take voluntary action to resolve a concern efficiently without accepting liability.
24. Legal Orders and Notices
Court orders, legal notices or communications from government or regulatory authorities should be sent to:
Use the subject line:

- Complete contact information;
- A clear copy of the notice or order;
- Details of the issuing authority;
- The relevant URLs;
- Applicable deadlines; and
- Any information required to verify authenticity.
Fight Artist may seek legal advice before responding.
25. Content Hosted by Third Parties
Fight Artist cannot directly remove content that is hosted exclusively by another website, broadcaster, promotion or social-media platform.
Where Fight Artist only links to or embeds third-party content, we may:
- Remove the link or embed;
- Contact the hosting provider;
- Direct the complainant to the relevant platform; or
- Take another reasonable action.
The rights holder may need to submit a separate request to the service that actually hosts the material.
26. Changes to This Policy
Fight Artist may update this Copyright and Takedown Policy to reflect changes in:
- Website operations;
- Editorial practices;
- Submission processes;
- Technology;
- Applicable law; or
- Platform requirements.
